Introducing PTWin32 |
Government
organizations from all over have discovered that PTWin32 gives the most bang for
the buck. There really is no competition… unless you want to count the times
when PTWin competes with PTWin. It’s
true. There are a few stragglers out there who have not upgraded from PTWin
Version 2 to PTWin32. We can understand that, as PTWin V2 had no equals. It
must be hard for you to imagine a better software system than PTWin V2 so
you’ll just have to trust us on this; PTWin32 is much better than PTWin
V2. And now is the time to upgrade! It
only costs $350 + $10 for shipping and handling to make the giant leap forward
to PTWin32. First and foremost you will be upgrading from a 16-bit program
written for older versions of MS Windows, to a 32-bit program written for newer,
more efficient versions of Windows. This
means PTWin32 runs faster and cleaner and takes full advantage of 32-bit Windows
environments, which improve stability and data integrity. For
starters we’ve added a Plan Review module that tracks multiple
reviewers from multiple departments and displays the review status on a graphic,
color-coded tree. We
added a System Messaging function that expedites communication between
PTWin32 users, and a Fee Estimate and Learning Mode that provides full
PTWin32 use without access to live data. Many new reports are included, and in
addition to an upgraded Ad Hoc Reporter, there is a new report writer
called RBPro giving greater access and more alternatives. You
can Bookmark important records, or Archive historic ones. Or you
can select between Permit Views designed for different types of users.
There are lots of other improvements, which you can read about on the Black Bear
web site at: http://www.blackbearsystems.com/whatnew2.htm. PTWin32 runs on computers that use
Microsoft Windows 95, 98, or NT 4.0 (service pack 3). Your computer must be at
least a Pentium 90 with 16 megabytes of ram. We recommend a minimum of 133
megahertz with 32 megabytes of ram. You may run any peer to peer or file server
network that is compatible with Microsoft Windows 95, 98, or NT 4.0 (service
pack 3).
