Creating a desktop icon for PTWin32

When you install PTWin32 it creates a PTWin32 Program Group under Programs on your Windows Start menu. This Program Group contains nine shortcuts to various programs and files associated with PTWin32. From here you can execute PTWin32.

Alternatively, Many of our users place a PTWin32 shortcut on the desktop of their Windows installation thus bypassing the Start menu altogether.

If you would like to put a PTWin32 shortcut directly on your Windows desktop simply open the PTWin32 Program Group and right-click on the PTWin32 Program Item. Without releasing the right mouse button, drag the cursor to your desktop and let go.

A menu will appear. Select Copy Here and a new icon will appear on your Windows desktop that takes you directly into PTWin32. You can right-click on the new icon to delete, rename, or see its properties.
