 Introducing PTWin32 |
PTWin32 can run three different kinds of
reports. You can get printed output using the SRW
AD-Hoc Reporter, Paradox, or Report Builder Pro. While it is true that other SQL report
writer software like Crystal Reports
is compatible with PTWin32’s Paradox
data tables, the three report types mentioned above are included with PTWin32. As such, we include help files in your
PTWin32 installation that guide you through the use of the pre-defined reports
that come with PTWin32. The help files and manual topics associated
with Paradox and the SRW
Ad-Hoc Reporter are easy to find since they are incorporated into their
respective programs. However, the Report
Builder Pro help is a little harder to locate. If you look in the \PTWin32\Programs
directory of your PTWin32 installation you will find a thirty-three page help
file that will provide you with the fundamentals necessary to use Report Builder
Pro. This help file comes in two formats, as a
Microsoft Word document, and as an Adobe Acrobat PDF file. If you don’t have a
copy of the Acrobat Reader you can download it for free from Adobe’s web site.
