Ursa’s interface relies on a browser-like tab approach. You can use tabs we have pre-defined just as they are, edit them for your specific needs, and create new tabs. You can use these tabs just once or save them and call them up again and again. Tabs can hold anything you need such as:

  • A “Command Center” showing a compete picture of your data;

  • A single record’s details (for example a Permit job or Code Enforcement case)

  • A report that executes and refreshes automatically every time you click on the tab.

Ursa’s interface relies on a browser-like tab approach. “Tabs” are like pages you can open that show you just about anything you need to see.

Tabs handle all types of records and functions; for example, Permits, Plan Review, Inspections, Code Enforcement, Land Use, Licensing and Report Generation functions. And all records from all these areas are automatically integrated so you get a complete up-to-the-minute picture whenever you need it.

You might fill one tab with an overview of information about current Permit jobs (what we call a “Command Center”), or perhaps with the details of a particular shopping center that’s going in. Or maybe you and a co-worker want to have an Inspection Scheduling tab open all the time. You can also put a particular report on a tab, and each time you click on that tab the report will automatically update with the most recent information.

Ursa comes with many tabs pre-defined. You can use these just as they are or edit them for your specific needs. You can use your tabs just once and then throw them away, or save them to use again. You can share tabs you design with your co-workers or just keep them on your own workstation.

Ursa will remember what tabs you had open from day to day, and keep the system looking the same as you work – the way you leave Ursa tonight when you go home, is exactly how it will look when you open it back up tomorrow morning.

Our intuitive Command Centers manage your workflow based on a job’s position in your process. For example, Permits might be categorized as “Application Pending”, “Review Pending”, “Approved, Waiting Start”, “In-Construction” or “Finaled”. You can further refine what jobs a Command Center shows you by type, date, location, etc. And from a Command Center, just one-click will lead you to a particular job’s details.
