Record Numbering

The
Automatic Record Numbering function of PTWin32v2 allows you to control the
creation of code field values like Parcel Number, and Permit Number. Should
you choose to turn Automatic Record Numbering on you will have control over 9
code values which you may set to any of 3 choices. The None selection turns
off Automatic Record Numbering for that table. The Standard selection sets a
prefix based on record type, followed by the year, followed by a sequential
assignment number, e.g., BP2005-118. The Custom selection lets you define a
prefix and/or suffix for each record type. You can turn on and off any
combination of code value generators you please.

If you would like to go beyond
