Black Bear offers a full range of training services to help you on your way. Whether you need basic training on the use of Ursa or want an intensive session on report writing, we'll teach you what you need to know. In “one-jurisdiction” training we don't follow a canned training script – we gear our sessions to what you think is important. We can come to your site and train your staff or, if you prefer, you can come to our Washington State offices (for some clients this is the best option so they can concentrate on training without interruption from phones and colleagues.)

We offer individualized training sessions either at your location or ours. These intensive sessions are great for training all of your staff members; getting professional guidance in setting up Ursa to operate exactly as you need; and to review your department’s procedures and integrate your methods into Ursa. The cost is $2,000 per day plus travel expenses if we come to your location, or $1,500 per day if you come to our offices in Washington State.

Alternatively, our Ursa Quick-Start Seminars, offered in central locations around the country, are a low-cost option designed to get you up to speed as quickly as possible. Please see the Ursa Seminars page for more details.
