How to purchase a 16-bit copy of Paradox

PTWin was designed to be accessible to
a wide range of third party products for the manipulation of PTWin data. This way your
information is not trapped in a way that would prevent you from processing it in the
product of your choice.
One of the alternatives available to you for changes in printed output or data table
manipulation is Paradox for Windows software. This database management software created by
Inprise (formerly Borland International) is available by calling Inprise toll free at:
(800) 331-0877.
The best version of Paradox to use with PTWin is Paradox for Windows 3.1 and Windows for
Workgroups. This 16-bit version of Paradox will allow you to access a set of over 25
Paradox report files included with PTWin. You can also create any new reports you wish and
link them to PTWin in the Modifications dialog box.
Keep in mind that Paradox for Windows is a separate product with a separate interface and
learning curve. You do not need Paradox to get most everything you want out of PTWin but
should you choose to learn Paradox you will find it a powerful tool for PTWin reporting
and data manipulation.
