Black Bear Systems, Inc. uses
"Jurisdiction" to refer to an area within which you have the legal authority to
issue permits. Cities, Counties, Provinces, and Reservations are examples of
jurisdictions.
The PTWin license agreement allows you to do a lot of things with your copy of PTWin. You
can network it with 300 simultaneous users, or install it on many computers as long as
each copy of PTWin is used only for the work of the single licensed jurisdiction.
By this we mean you can only process PTWin records for your distinct government entity.
The County of Black Bear, which has legal authority to issue its own permits, can not also
issue permits for the City of Black Bear. Even if another jurisdiction asks or allows your
jurisdiction to issue its permits on its behalf, you can not use your PTWin license
agreement to do this. A separate PTWin license must be purchased.
We offer Multi-Jurisdictional licenses at a discounted price. For more information call
